Moving On- A Re-introduction

I was going to name this blog Fading Flowers and Slithering Serpents, but figured I'd leave that kind of title to someone who will be much more inclined to post about wandering through fields at midnight than I.

Just in case anyone from my other OTHER blog(s) follows me/finds me here, this is my last attempt at being a proper blogger.  I'm clearly a fan of instant gratification due to how much I've neglected my Blogger blog in favour of the likes of Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.  Instagram's great, but no one needs to know life stories and gory details on there, in my personal opinion, therefore I'm being an adult about this and totally scrapping my old blogger identity.  I'm hoping a fresh, clean resurrection will spur me on to accomplish greater things than I have before.

My life and I (sounds like a terrible movie) have changed drastically since I started discovering the World of the Online.  When I started blogging, I was still in college (or community college for those awkward Americans) doing a Fine Art qualification.  I've been through college and university, graduating with little to show for it, except personal achievement.  I've dated a boy, gotten married to that boy, and adopted two fur babies.  I've moved four times (one for every year of my marriage), and now I'm right back where I started geographically, and my current job has nothing whatsoever to do with what I went to school for, and I hate it with a passion. I've become a lot more reserved and thoughtful about what I choose to say, especially online, and in a world where as long as your opinion is with the majority it's acceptable.  I'm much more self-aware and things that I value have certainly changed in terms of how they're prioritised.

On my previous two blogs, my teenage mindset was still kicking its can around, but I hope to bring the older, more grounded and self-assured me to the table.  You can expect this blog to be eclectic and to feature posts about things I find fascinating, fun things I've done, outfit posts, makeup posts (both product reviews and makeup done by my own fair hand), book and film reviews, artist spotlights, and general updates about my strange little corner of the world.  I have in the past, cringed at older blog posts that have been filled with judgement and naivety.  I now have a much more relaxed 'live and let live' mentality, but you will find me blogging about issues that are dear to my heart, and maybe ones that ignite my fury.

Welcome.

I solemnly swear I am up to no good...
